Vacancy: Interim Assistant Headteacher

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Interim Assistant Headteacher at St Joseph’s Castleford.
- Contract: Fixed-term, September 2025 – 31 August 2026
- Salary Range: Leadership Scale L1 – L5
- Closing Date: Midday, 8th September 2025
- Interviews: TBC – successful candidates will be informed in due course
The postholder will work closely with the Interim Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to drive forward high-quality teaching and learning across the school. This role offers the opportunity to develop leadership skills, support colleagues through coaching and professional development, and contribute directly to the school improvement journey.
The role is open to all class teachers currently employed within the school.
