Here is where you will find out what’s going on in class and updates.
Routines
Reading Books will be sent home on throughout the week and should be returned to school every day. Spelling lists are added to Spelling Shed on a Wednesday.
PE Days: This term, PE will take place on a Tuesday and Thursday.
Pupils must come to school wearing school PE kit.
Please remember that PE kit during these guidelines is as follows:
- Black/Navy Blue shorts
- White t-shirt
- Plain Black or Navy Blue tracksuit
- Black/Navy Blue jogging bottoms/leggings
- Plain Navy Blue/black sweatshirt/jacket
- PE Kits should have no logos on.
- Earrings must be removed
Homework will be set weekly and must be returned to school /submitted on Google Classroom the following week.
In Year 2 children are expected to:
- Read 3 times a week to a parent.
- Practise spellings on Spelling Shed or by writing them out.
- Practise their arithmetic/number bonds/times tables two times a week either on Numbots, TTRS or Summdog
Spellings will be tested weekly on a Tuesday.
