School Uniform
School Uniform at English Martyrs.
The school uniform policy has been reviewed by ourselves along with colleagues across our Trust. A new policy will be issued shortly but in the meantime, I kindly ask that you support us in adhering to the following:
- Long hair needs to be tied back.
- Large bows and hair accessories are not suitable for school.
- Plain grey trousers (or grey shorts in the Summer), skirts or pinafores should be worn
- White long sleeved shirts/blouses (short sleeves in Summer) with a red school tie, need to be worn
- Royal blue school or plain pullovers or cardigans.
- Plain black shoes (not trainers)
- Black/white/grey/red knee length socks or tights with ankle socks in Summer
- Blue book bags are to be used to keep reading books and homework etc. in good condition and easy to organise and store in school.
Physical Education
- Plain black or navy shorts, gym skirt, leggings or jogging bottoms – weather dependent
- Plain black or navy hoodie – weather dependent
- Plain white t-shirt or polo shirt to be worn.
- Trainers must be worn on PE days
- Designer labels are not part of the school PE kit
